Couple of articles from today’s Guardian

While a lot of people are celebrating that the Bharatiya Ja-Nazi Party has been booted out of office in India, George Monbiot reports that some of the darlings of western politicians have been booted out of the state government of Andhra Pradesh in south-eastern India. (This isn’t the first time Indian state politicians in league with western companies have screwed local people - Arundhati Roy here tells a similar tale involving Enron in Maharashtra, in which it became cheaper to use private generators than to buy electricity from the state power company. This is a PDF, but do a search on Google as there’s several copies of it in HTML around.)

Meanwhile, here’s a review, of Michael Moore’s film in the Guardian, and here’s one from the BBC.
