As you can all see, I've changed the theme for this blog to a three-column one. For all the geeks out there, this involved duplicating the CSS code for the sidebar, and assigning it a new name. If you saw the links and had to scroll down to see this, click reload on your browser. It may have saved the CSS (but strangely, not the content!) from the old layout. Once I sort out a few problems with the left side-bar (like the text straying out of the list box), I intend to release the theme, if the original author has no objections.

Nice!! Are you going to put more stuff on the right hand side?
Yay! Now I can see the sidebar. I thought you said you'd done something so that our personal details don't remain? I still see mine.
Safiyya: I haven't written it yet to forget existing personal details. If you were to submit the comment on another computer, it would not remember the details unless you told it to.
Assalaamu 'alaikum
In IE, your right sidebar's on the left at the bottom. But in Firefox, it's okay.
~ Umm Junayd.
Wa 'alaikum as-Salaam,
I've had lots of complaints to that effect about IE. I believe it's a fault with IE, not with the design. IE is well-known as not conforming to web standards, and increasingly web pages are being designed with those standards in mind, not with IE's mistakes. Wordpress, for example, actually mentions its commitment to web standards among its advantages.
Like this 3-column revision to a very nice theme - I would be interested to have the files you currently use in this revision, as it seems to be perfectly well behaved in Firefox.
In my opinion, search should be left on its own on the right, but the Meta links might be logical alongside this.
What's the purpose of the calendar? :-)
Well, you can use it to find the posts for a given day. Somebody missed it from the MT days and requested it. Also it was a good CSS lesson.
