Just wondering whether you’ve got wind of the new Akismet spam protection in Wordpress since 2.0. You need to sign up for a blog on wordpress.com first, to get an “API-key”, then you can enable this plugin. And it works very well.

I used MT for a couple of years, however earlier this year it got to be really bad. Too much comment spam, even with a plugin..eventually bringing my ISP’s server down to its knees. I havent had a single issue of spam with WP.

I've been using Wordpress since 1.2 and I'm glad I chose it. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to have a good blog, but also to those who are good with php and css because its amazing what you can do with wordpress.
