With a big hat tip to Umm Zaid for the reminder, a new Yahoo group dedicated to Maliki fiqh has been started up to replace the old Ahl_Medina group. AlexAndalus describes it thus:

Not like the email lists that led to SunniPath, more a collective of laypersons sharing files and information on the school of Imam Malik, radhiAllahu anh.

Archives are for members only, but joining is straightforward and you don’t need approval.

Readers are also reminded of another Maliki fiqh group, Tariqul-Islam, and its related website Lamppost Productions, both focussed on the writings of Ustadh Abdullah bin Hamid Ali, a graduate of the Qairawiyeen in Fez.
