Christopher Hitchens isn't right-wing though. He's a Trotskyist. I haven't worked out though if his recent enthusiasm for American imperialism is merely an extention of his Trotskyist belief in a global state (many of the neo-cons are former trotskyists as well). Or alternatively did 9/11 scare the crap out of him and get him to start backing any military adventure that might save him from such distresses in the future? I've come a across a number of left-wingers who've become liberal imperialists because of 9/11.Seems like a pretty monor event to base your ideology on. Yes they are brothers.
