I think the mwu/pmnua munafiq crew put this out. Remember when they were claiming that a Sheikh from Al-Azhar issued a similar fatwa? That turned out to be a lie as well.

jzk for clearing this up. I read the news item on the arabic site and was scratching my head because it sounded so strange for someone like Abdullah bin Bayyah to be backing Amina Wadud and her actions.
