That is what they told us when we took action against the evening standard and won last year. Stories like this remind me of a certain parable about <a href="http://www.islam101.com/quran/yusufAli/QURAN/7.htm#176" rel="nofollow">dogs and their tongues</a>, if you know what I mean. These people sound like they’re about as deaf as Tom Friedman.

I'm not sure which is more worrying. The ignorance of the Saudis or the fact that western discourse is based increasingly on cliches and bubble gum philosophy rather than scholarship and knowledge.
