Being a Muslim first, then an ardent Gooner, I have a coupla questions to ask people who are condemning Arsenal for an Israeli promotion. Firstly, why was there no fuss from the Muslim community when Malcolm Glazier bought off Man Utd? He is a jew who now OWNS the club!!! Is Arsenal Football Cluba Muslim club? NO! They obviously don’t echo the sentiments of disgruntled Muslim fans and objectively, I don’t think they’ve done any wrong, by embarking on this promotion. It probably is a lucrative business deal and it probably will expire. I sympathise and support the plight of the Palestinians and I am indeed disappointed that my loyalties have to be divided, but as tough as it may be, I have to separate the two.

That’s right, I think he converted under the guidance of someone who worked at his school in Holland, and his wife is moroccan. Also, I have heard that Pascal Cygan converted to Islam, but I don’t know for sure. And then there’s Abu Diaby, judging by his name and where he’s from, but again I’m not sure.

Also, they fouled Arsenal left right and centre, and then scored a debatable goal. Did you see the way Henry got a yellow card after he was fouled by Van Bommel, how does that work? And lastly, our muslim bro Toure did a great job at the back, even though we lost he was man of the match for me!

What can Barcelona claim? They beat a 10 man team? woo hoo give em a pat on the back (i’m being sarcastic btw).

If they’d beaten an 11 man team that would have been something else.

As it is, it took them an hour to break down the Gunners defence with a man advantage.

I am a Barca fan in Spanish footie anyway, and a Celtic support in the UK, so I am glad when any top English team looses, especially the “fair weather” teams who gain so many supporters when they are doing good, only to loose them when they are not. Key example, Man UTD.
