Armchair hooligans face ban at domestic matches - Britain - Times Online
FOOTBALL fans who commit crimes, including domestic violence, after watching the World Cup on television will face a ban from domestic games next season.
So a man who gets stressed out and beats his wife because England (predictably) loses a football match to Germany or Argentina will be told he can’t go to league matches come the wintertime. Perish the thought that he might get into a bit of a fight afterwards - he’ll have to stay at home and watch it on the telly! Pity his poor wife.
