From Cameron to Osborne, and through Fox, Hague, Gove et al, the Tories' views on Islam and Muslims are rather extreme, and Maude's charm offensive does not compensate for any of that. Unfortunately, the Tories are likely to introduce similarly draconian measures vis-a-vis the Muslim community.
