I really dislike the c-word and the f-word. The problem with using swear words casually, as well as the fact that they are unpleasant, is that there is nothing left over for when you are really angry. When people can&#039;t express real anger in words, what&#039;s left? Violence.

There is a difference between swear words used in anger and used in jest. I&#039;m talking hear about phrases like &quot;daft bugger&quot;, which, in the North, is almost affectionate.

The Christian position on swearing is &quot;let your speech be aye and nay&quot;; in other words it is opposed. (Not that I always live up to this standard.) What is the Islamic position - can anyone tell me?
