I've just found the account of the alleged incident of a young woman being 'imprisioned' on a train last June. It may be late to comment but as a railway worker and knowing how awkward some drivers can be when they think an unsafe incident has occurred, I still think that this account is a load of rubbish. Railway staff are at the mercy of anyone who wishes make malicious accusations and have very little defence. Such an action as you describe is probably illegal and would result in dismissal and/or prosecution if proved. In my experience some of the tavelling public seem to switch off their brain cells as soon as they enter railway premises. I know you won't allow this opinion as it casts doubt. Why do you stress the young woman's religion. It is irrelevant to the incident and indicates some bias on the reporter's part. Would you have featured it if the complainant had been Jewish or Christian. May the Lord Jesus Christ shine His light upon you and bring you peace.

As-Salaamu 'alaikum,

I checked on the BBC West Midlands radio website and the breakfast programme is not archived. However, I listened to it myself and Adrian Goldberg was very sympathetic, not cutting her off or putting words in her mouth or anything like that, alhamdu lillah.

Assalamu alaikum, how awful! This woman and her family are in my duas. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to listen to the program, though I'd like to, do you think it will be archived at all?
