I am OK

Greetings and as-Salaamu 'alaikum to my overseas readers,

Some news outlets have reported that a "severe tornado" had struck London today. While there were severe storms in many areas of London, the tornado itself was a small one and its damage was confined to a few streets in north-west London. I was not caught in any of it; I was indoors, a few miles away, through the worst of the storms.

Al-hamdulillah, I'm glad you're OK. I did see a headline about that. I thought: a tornado in London? Hopefully, that doesn't happen too often!

assalamu alikeum

That tornado looked mad. Im down south of london, but even from here i felt the big gusts of wind and the heavy rain, hailstones and thunder that came about.

Did you see the hailstones bro? I thought they were going to smash my windows in because they were coming down so hard!

Alhmdualiah nobody died from it. I hope that it doesnt become a regualry occurance like it does in America. We aint prepared for such things in the U.K. Our system over here isnt used to tornados and unlike in america, i think any warnings would proabably come out too late.

Alhamdulillah. So even with the tornado there seems to have been from the news reports a good turnout at the Litvenenko janaza.

Assalamu alaikum, a tornado? Wow, I'd have no idea that that had even happened! But I've not kept up with the news the past few days. Alhamdulillah that you are OK, though.

Assalamu Alaikum

I live about a mile away from where this tornado hit. I was at work at the time in the middle of baker street and saw and heard the thunder and the hail stones. My daughter phoned me from UAE and told me about it .She was hoping her old school (queens park ) was hit by it .
