Every day, several times, Feltz mentions ‘The Times’, whose support of Israel during the Gaza hostilities in January, has been greater than that of any British paper.

She never sites a left wing newspaper whose support for Israel is less obvious.

There is a complete anti Muslim andn pro Jewish vibe to her show every day.

Her editor, Robey, is part of the problem.

BBC Radio London urgently needs a presenter with a Liberal outlook and a much les shadey and open hearted agenda. If Robey fails to deliver such editorial balance, he should be replaced.

Readers may need reminding about the Danish cartoons coverage which focussed despicably on the more virulent Muslim protests rather than the far more general,widely dispersed voicing of genuine and legitimate outrage that took place but was deemed less newsworthy.

BBC is the state cipher envisioned by Orwell.For coverage of muslim issues it is now unsurpassed in its bigotry and sheer ignorance.Aside from Feltz we have liberal establishment figures like Rod Little(who the BBC ironically sacked re-another issue but who is commonly summoned to parrot Islamophobic views on Any Questions or Question Time.The recently honoured Anne Leslie is frequently a guest lauded for her thoroghly specious understanding of the Middle East.This understanding includes the unlikely formulation that it is the goal of Islamicists to install a muslim caliphate across the West!

Another Leslie blooper was the notion at the time of 9/11 that because muslims had expressed the idea that such an atrocity could not have been planned and organized by their co-religionists this was yet another example of their being brainwashed!

Given that most of us who are not dependent on the corporate media for information and know how the official version of 9/11 does not stand up to any scrutiny(indeed it is this version that is the real conspiracy theory)one shudders to think just how far the brainwashing which has so demolished Leslie’s capacity for rational thought has progressed!

These issues have nothing to with race and everything to do with religion. This is Islamophobia but it certainly isn’t racism, “new” or otherwise, even if genuine racists like the BNP sometimes hide behind an anti-Islam facade.
