I've never been on Second Life so I wouldn't know. I've not heard of that many parents murdering their autistic children, although I've heard of one or two cases of mothers killing their children and then themselves due to stress and lack of support. (Not just autistic kids though; there was recently a case where a mother killed her severely disabled daughter and herself because her scumbag neighbours were making their lives a misery and the police did sod all.)

I don't know if these kids were autistic anyway. But some people are just cruel and get kicks out of watching kids, or people generally, suffer. It's speculated that the screws who put Zahid Mubarek in a cell with that racist nutter who bludgeoned him to death did so as part of a "gladiators" game where they put incompatible prisoners together to watch the fireworks. And remember the women who got two toddlers to fight each other and video'ed it?

On Second Life, the 3-D virtual reality, there is an autism museum, outside of which are pictures of autistic children murdered by their own parents/carers. Sentences for parents who kill their own autistic kids are often incredibly light because they are viewed 'sympathetically'. I mean, wouldn't want to kill your own kid if they had autism? Actually, no. But I'd like to see bastards who do get LIFE. And quite a few autistic people feel exactly the same way.
