Personally, when I read about these men,I feel incredibly angry as all of them, with the exception of Wright, had a history of previous offences against women.

There needs to be a paradigm shift in our policing and legal systems to deal with these offenders.

The convictions of Wright, Bellfield and Peter Tobin have all sparked re investigations into several cold cases of female murder victims, for the simple reason that middle-aged men do not suddenly start killing women. They usually have a long history of violence and attacks against women.

I am sick of seeing someone get less time in prision for rape then they would for armed robbery. Longer sentences for rapists could save lives. Our law institutions have a duty to protect women and they are not fulfilling it.
