I seem to recall listening to XM radio a couple years ago, when they used to have this channel called "XM Live" where it was nothng but live performances, and I am almost sure they played a recording of a performance of Youssou Ndour at Glastonbury, unless of ocurse, if there are multiple Glastonb urys? In any case, if I'm correct, and we're talking about the same Glaston bury festival, uh, Youssou Ndour is black isn't he? And did anyone make a fuss when he performed? If they didn't, and they're saying something now about Jay-Z's headlining, then perhaps it's not the fact that someone hapens to be black or whatever, but the fact that their msuic might not fit well into the format of the festival they're headlining. Now of course, if there's a fuss every time a black artist performs or headlines the festival then we might have a problem, and there might be an issue. The wrong type of music for the festival. Racism still exists, Naomi Campbell on the cover of a magazine sells less than white models. I am not sure whether Eminem would be popular if he was black.
