I don't know if David Modell is jewish but jews have good reason to remember and dislike the traditional christian attitudes, as does anyone else who thinks persecution and torture bad things. The (Jewish) presenter Modell has an enormous anti-Christian axe to grind. The programme shows small apparently Christian groups - to what extent did the BNPers shown appear at demonstrations by virtue of their Christian beliefs ? - and a handful of prominent apparent leaders. Hardly representative of most Christians. But I think the thrust of the programme is not really to highlight these dangerous fundamentalists with their awesome power in high places - how significant is ten minutes with Norman Tebbit ? - but to blacken all Christians by association. There are millions of ordinary Britons who subscribe to traditional Christian values and niether want the rampant secularism the likes of Modell let in, nor Sharia law.
