What is a religion, if it is not an independent movement? Why is the claimed mandatory obligation of sikhs  to wear a ring any different to the claimed mandatory obligation of some christians to wear a chastity ring or the claimed mandatory obligation of followers of the Prophet Zarquon to carry an automatic rifle and carry out summary executions of heretics, unbelievers, apostses, general riff-raff  and anyone who looks as if they might be in one of these categories?
