<description>Arthur Scargill&#039;s Socialist Labour party is anti-EU. So is Steve Radford&#039;s Liberal Party (not Liberal Democrats). The pro-EU vs anti-EU argument cuts right across the political spectrum and is not a right wing or little Englander obsession.

The Tories will never withdraw from the EU.

<description>I suspect that among ethnic minorities the Eurosceptic cause is tarnished by association with right-wing (sometimes racist) Tories (and Robert Kilroy-Silk in the specific case of Muslims).

<description>I&#039;m intrigued to know why there is so little opposition to the EU from Muslims in Britain. Two questions I ask are:

1. How does Britain benefit from being in the EU nowadays?

2. How do Muslims in Britain benefit from Britain being in the EU nowadays?

I have been informed a number of times that opposition to the EU by ethnic minorities in Britain was quite high in the 1970s and the majority of ethnic minorities voted to withdraw from the EU in the referendum.

<description>AKP is not an Islamist party, despite its origins. The real Islamists in Turkey are in the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi).
