Went to check it out today as it's near my workplace.

It's OK, and will be convenient, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. And it's really badly signposted.

Plus, however fancy they make the decor, at the end of the day it's Shepherd's Bush, which is grotty whatever you do to it.

As-Salaamu 'alaikum,

So they charge for parking? One fewer reason for anyone from south or east of town to bother going (as parking is free at Bluewater, which is a MUCH nicer mall than Westfield, although Uxbridge Road with its Arab restaurants is a lot further away).

Plenty of shops but badly signposted inside mall leaves you slightly disappointed . No where to have a decent cup of tea. I feel it is a bit of a cheek to charge for carparking . Just like any other mall you go in. In a couple of days time they are opening a mall in Dubai over 5 million square feet.

It's very near where I work and they seem to have been building it for ever. Sounds like a bit of an anti-climax, though it will be good to have a Marks & Spencers.

I thought they'd be a few bookshops. I was disappointed when Books Etc closed. (If you know the area you may remember Bush Books - a small but quirky shop.)

Well, I'll probably pop in, but I'm in no hurry.

It's such a shame about the tilework in the tube station. I used to travel to Shepherd's Bush on the central line quite regularly and it was such a pleasure to gaze at the lovely tilework - the only bright spot on an otherwise horrible commute.
