Is it even possible to restore traditional gender roles in First World countries though, given that every housewife needs a breadwinner?

Women if anything now have better career prospects than men, because most of the traditional "men's work" has been offshored to cheap-labour countries...

Feminism is responsible for most of the ills of society.

I am surprised at Muslims who cannot see this.

Feminism leads to female promiscuity.

Female promiscuity encourages male promiscuity.

Promiscuity leads to single parenthood and family breakdown.

Single parenthood and family breakdown leads to a vicious circle crime and lower educational standards, which will ultimately lead to the end of Western civilisation.

The men who dare not question feminism are of course also equally culpable.

We are all to blame!

It needs to go hand in hand with protection of minorities, civil society etc.

In that case Ancient Athens wasn't a democracy. There were constitutional rights but people could still be executed by democratic vote for certain things.

Good points.

Of course it all depends how you define democracy. Democracy should not be just mob rule, as it is in Iraq, where Shiites have used elections to get one over on their oppressors, the Sunnis. It needs to go hand in hand with protection of minorities, civil society etc.
