For a brief, golden moment, I thought that the quote was a spoof; a masterclass in sarcasm. To my even greater amusement it turns out to be genuine.

This whole rigamarole is just reflecting terribly on the Republicans, they need to inventing false-hoods to justify their arguments, making them look like true idiots.

Salaam Alaikum,

I find such talk of ‘death panels’ offensive and untrue, especially coming from a country which maims and kills so many of it’s citizens due it’s lack of health care.

The U.S has the highest rate of neonatal deaths in the Western World. They don’t need any death panels.

I can certainly testify that without the NHS, I would have been dead several times over. It has its faults, but it is an institution that is almost universally revered in our country. For the first time in a very long time, I feel very patriotic and defensive!
