Salam Brother Yusuf

Excellent piece and I found it resonated with me as I quite an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis, this means that my control over my body is decaying quite rapidly and i will soon find myself wheel chair bound. The frustration of being unable to do the mist basic things is something I share with the author of the blog, I think your suggestion of emotional care for people who suffer such afflictions has alot of value. I am blessed with having a caring family whom unfortunately I burden, but I know of other sufferers who face this alone. It is not the physical aid that you crave as we still have our pride and you gain an enhanced sense of independence when the possibility of losing it is put before you. But the sympathetic ear to listen to your emotions is so cathartic, I pray that Allah makes it easier for the human beings who suffer in solitude.
