John Doe and not the victim v John Doe. Therefore, her forgiveness means nothing. She has possibly even done it as some sort of therapy. The fact of the matter is that many think there is one set of morality for the likes of Roman Polanksi and Woody Allen and another for the rest of America. There is also the issue, as ex Mayor of San Francisco Willie Brown let slip in an interview ( who is a freind of Polanski) that many dont agree with the age of consent laws.
