I have heard Muslims say that the soul actually leaves the body during sleep. They say that it can travel and meet the souls of the living and the dead. Based on some of my dreams, I feel that is true. I had such an amazing dream the night my grandmother died and to this day, I still feel as though she communicated with me at the time of her death. It still stays with me til this day.

We always dream about what we want. So the majority of us would like it unless one is going through a time when they need to make their minds up. That is when dreams get complicated where you can be in many different places or with different people in a short space of time.

I have crazy, bizarre, dreams one after the other the whole night through. Last night I was studying micro organisms with my 8th grade science teacher, while a ten year old version of myself was playing next to the aquariums, in the corner of the room. And that was just ONE of my dreams.

Something must be wrong with me.

cncz, I totally had a dream like that once and it made me so angry when I woke up and realized that it wasn’t real. except it wasn’t really like I fell in love, but more like I just made an amazing connection with someone. I was sitting and talking to this faceless person for the loooongest time, then he/she (still don’t know) handed me a letter and said, “no one will understand it except you and I” then poooof, they were gone! I actually expected to see a letter sitting there on my bed when i woke up. I was so disappointed, I cried. Dreams can be really powerful sometimes.

I sound like a psychopath but once I had the most random dream once where I was madly in love with someone and when I woke up, the fact that I had the dream made me mad. So I royally flipped out on the person in question, I like blamed him for my dream. That was kinda wrong especially considering he hadn’t done anything wrong. I was totally angry at my subconscious for a week. It was just a dream but my reaction to it was completely violent! To this day I still don’t know why it made me so mad.

Funny you mention dreams, just last night I dreamed that Stevie Wonder was playing the kora lol. And I don't even think Stevie Wonder even plays stringed instruments lol. But I dreamed he was playing the kora and showing me how to lol. .-= Ginny ´s last blog ..Alaska =-.
