Kubuntu Dapper RC released
Ubuntu has released a first release candidate of version 6.06 (Dapper Drake), along with the KDE version Kubuntu: announcement here, with upgrade and download instructions. The project will also be shipping Kubuntu CDs for free through the Shipit scheme - you'll need to get a Launchpad account (start here), although shipping starts in early June and could take up to six weeks, by which time the final version will be out (perhaps that's the idea, but they don't make that clear).
