A first release candidate of version 2.0 of Gambas, a Visual Basic-like development environment for Unix, has been released. Main changes (full list here):
- Now possible to use Gambas as a scripting language
- Alpha channel support in the icon editor
- PDF component enhanced
- Interpreter can return error stack backtraces
- Updates to Swedish, Catalan, Italian and Japanese translations
