Amarok 2.2 "Sunjammer" released | KDE.news

Version 2.2 of Amarok, the music player and collection manager for KDE, has been released. Changes include:

• New look and feel, with all the elements (browser pane, context view, playlist etc) are dockable and moveable
• Playlist overhauled, with tracks now sortable and shuffle-able
• New bookmark feature
• New photo and video applets in the context view, and extended Wikipedia applet
• Improved scanning in collection
• Support for external MySQL databases
• Dynamic Playlists can now use Biases based on Last.fm and Echonest
