A call for papers has been issued regarding the upcoming Akademy KDE community conference which is to be held in Tampere, Finland, from 3rd to 10th July. The themes for this event are to be KDE beyond the Linux desktop (netbooks, mobile phones etc) and integration with social networking systems like Facebook and Twitter/identi.ca, but talks on other KDE-related topics are welcome.
Talks can consist of a 30-minute presentation, or a 45-minute presentation with an associated technical paper. BOF and Workshop sessions may also be presented. Submissions by email to akademy-talks at kde.org, with your name, a small photo, a title and a 400-word abstract, and what kind of talk it is. Deadline is 23rd April.
