KDE v4.5 released

Version 4.5.0 of the KDE Software Compilation has been released. Main changes:

  • 16,000 bug fixes
  • New notification system for Plasma
  • Konqueror now uses WebKit
  • New generic cache for applications (e.g. for icons)
  • Marble can now be used for map routing
