Version 10 of Fedora, the operating system with its roots in Red Hat Linux, has been released. This features KDE 4.1.2 and, while it includes libraries from KDE 3.5 to support kdewebdev and KDevelop, it does not include KDE 3 itself. It also includes kernel 2.6.27, X.Org 7.4 / XServer 1.5.2, updated PyQt and Qt 4/GTK style support, GNOME 2.24.1, GCC 4.3.2, RPM updated to version 4.6, GIMP v2.6, OpenOffice.org v3.0, extended live USB support as introduced in F9, support for Network Manager connection sharing, a new graphical boot system called Plymouth (albeit one which only supports ATI cards to its fullest), and SecTool, a new security auditing and intrusion detection system. A download mirror list can be found here, and there is a KDE-based live CD available.
