PyQt v4.7.7 released

Riverbank Computing has announced that version 4.7.7 of PyQt, their Python bindings for Qt, has been released. It is "a minor bug fix released addressing the outstanding pyuic4 regressions". Downloads here.

Version 4.7.0 of Qt has been released. Major new features (see "what's new" here):

  • Qt Quick, a "declarative UI [user interface] development" environment based on a JavaScript-like language and a new QtDeclarative C++ library
  • A new network bearer management feature in the Network module, enabling monitoring of when the system is online and transparent roaming
  • Improved scrolling and zooming in WebKit

Version 1.0.1 of the Nokia Qt SDK, intended for developing mobile apps using Qt on the developer's preferred desktop platform, has been released. Main new features:

QTM v1.3 released

Version 1.3 of QTM, the weblog client based on Qt 4, has been released. Changes:

  • HTML Syntax highlighting, with configurable colours
  • Uses Qt's network manager class, which requires Qt 4.4.0

Bug fixes for Eric4 and Eric5

Bug-fix releases have been made available for both Eric4, the Qt-based IDE for Python, and Eric5, the Python 3-based version. Downloads for both, as well as requirements lists, are available here.

PyQt v4.7.5 released; updates to QScintilla and SIP

p>Riverbank Computing has announced updates to their Python/Qt bindings as well as bindings generator SIP and the C++ editing library QScintilla. The main change is support for Python v3.2 (see full changelogs for PyQt v4.7.5 and SIP v4.11.
