KDE has been accepted to participate in this year's Google Summer of Code, which offers students a stipend to work on selected open-source projects. Applications start on 28th March and close on 8th April (see timeline.

Qt 4.7.2 has been released!

Version 4.7.2 of Qt has been released; this is a maintenance (bug-fix) release. Changelog here; most of the changes are to Symbian support but there are 18 crash bugs fixed. Downloads here (LGPL or commercial).
