  • Added an option to explicitly control whether the window will be shown on all (virtual) desktops. Defaults to true, as before.
  • Made the error condition when Yakuake is unable to load the Konsole KPart component non-destructive, i.e. being unable to load the KPart will no longer end in an unavoidable application quit. Instead, a good-looking warning will be shown where the terminal would normally be. This also takes care of the edge case in which Konsole is uninstalled while Yakuake is already running, so that existing terminals won't be lost.
  • Fixed a regression that caused the "Show title bar contents in tab labels" preference to no longer work.
  • Fixed tab label not immediately being updated upon creating a new session when "Show title bar contents in tab labels" is enabled.

For screenshots and downloads (source only), see the KDE Apps page. Requires KDE 4.

  • Ensure that in case the data of a file can't be indexed because of some error, at least the file name is indexed.
  • Improve query language to support OR queries of terms with field specifications (ie: title:someterm OR author:someauthor).
  • Fix filename search to split patterns on white space, so that a "*.jpg *.jpeg" search does what's expected. Means you now need to use double-quotes if there is actual embedded white space.
  • Jump directly to the external editor choice dialog instead of opening preferences when an external viewer is not found.
  • Allow stopping indexing through menu action (only works with qt4 for now).
  • Create an "indexedmimetypes" connfiguration variable to allow explicitely restricting the file types which do get indexed.

I think this also matches the clamav default, but I might be wrong (Dirk Mueller dmueller at suse.de)

  • Fix https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171414
  • Patch to scheduled scan script from "Vincent J. Schiavoni"
