He points out the main shareholder in the maintenance consortium is Ferrovial of Spain, which was one of the main corporate sponsors of Madrid&#39;s failed bid for the 2012 Olympics.  It&#39;s now responsible for a billion-Euro investment in the improvements to the Underground in the run-up to London&#39;s Olympics.
