(This isn&#8217;t the first time Indian state politicians in league with western companies have screwed local people &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratical.org\/co-globalize\/AR021802.pdf\">Arundhati Roy<\/a> here tells a similar tale involving Enron in Maharashtra, in which it became cheaper to use private generators than to buy electricity from the state power company.
