Every so often I come across something that reminds me of exactly why the left in certain countries don’t quite get enough support to get enough votes to actually win an election, rather than enough to think they’ve won but just not got past the right’s vote rigging tactics, and this piece from a site dedicated to dissing Pat Robertson<\/a> is one of them. The piece is a MP4 video<\/a> linked off BushFlash<\/a>.

\nTo save you the bother of watching it, it consists of some quotes from some various Republican and religious-right figures. There is one quote, mixed in with all the extreme wacko stuff, which – even coming from John Ashcroft – which makes you think, “what’s wrong with that?” and realise that they have absolutely no respect for anyone’s religious values, or anyone with religious values:<\/p>\n
