The topic is &quot;The Future of Europe in Islam&quot; (a provocative title, to be sure &#8211; are they sure they don&#39;t mean the Future of Islam in Europe?).  The debate will be held in the Chemistry Auditorium in the Christopher Ingold Building (20 Gordon St, London WC1).  Tickets can be booked <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myh.org.uk\/events.htm\">here<\/a>; proceeds to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myh.org.uk\/myh\/htm\">Muslim Youth Helpline<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Brian Whitaker posted an article about Ayaan Hirsi and Irshad Manji entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/commentisfree.guardian.co.uk\/brian_whitaker\/2006\/06\/native_misinformants.html\">False Prophets<\/a> at Comment is Free today.  He also recommends <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenation.com\/doc\/20060619\/lalami\">this article<\/a> by Laila Lalami in <em>The Nation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>(3) Chris Doyle of the Council for Arab-British Understanding had <a href=\"http:\/\/observer.guardian.co.uk\/letters\/story\/0,,1789893,00.html\">this article<\/a> published in the <em>Observer<\/em> yesterday.
