Readers might remember that a similar group, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pmuna.org\/\">Progressive Muslim Union of North America<\/a>, had one member of its board resign after another in 2005, for reasons <a href=\"http:\/\/pmunadebate.blogspot.com\/2005\/07\/muqtedar-khans-resignation-letter.html\">summed up in Muqtedar Khan&#39;s resignation letter<\/a> (see also <a href=\"http:\/\/pmunadebate.blogspot.com\/2005\/08\/omid-safi-hussein-ibish-sarah.html\">here<\/a>).
