Register of American Muslims?! (from Al-Muhajabah)

This should, perhaps, be a lesson to those who asked us to declare our religion in the 2001 UK census, just so that an accurate figure for the numbers of British Muslims could be reached. I’m not writing to the government to tell them I’m Muslim, thank you very much.

Then again, in a US context, what Al-Muhajabah is alluding to is plainly unconstitutional:

(al-M:) If you believe that I need to register my location with the government because of my religion, you can go to hell. This is America not a f***ing police state.
