Moderation

Moderation has had to be re-enabled on this blog because of a rash of stupid postings whose authors keep reposting them even when they know they are not welcome. There is also the issue of Muslim readers being scared away by the declining tone of “debate”. I am not saying I only ever want friendly praise-comments, but the comment threads keep getting hijacked every time someone posts a troll and people answer it instead of discussing the issue mentioned in the post.

This **does not apply** to commenters with [TypeKey](http://www.typekey.com/) identities, because I can ban people easily with this if they keep posting garbage. TypeKey is free and I recommend that everyone who has not got a TypeKey ID gets one. Please post here if you have any trouble with the system.
