More hogwash from the Daily Spew

Further to my earlier entry about the Daily Express's contribution to the "Christmas is being banned" meme, Peter Gasston at Perfect.co.uk notes that the Halifax bank has written to Australian Mediawatch flatly denying the reports that piggy-banks have been withdrawn from their branches to avoid offending Muslims. In fact, they have not been present in the branches for several years.
