Shaikh Riyadh on Melanie Phillips

Shaikh Riyadh Nadwi has written a reply to Melanie Phillips' ignorant suggestion on the BBC Radio 4 programme The Moral Maze, among them that the standard Muslim practice of removing body hair is to be assumed a preparation for doing a suicide bombing, as well as in her Daily Snail Trail column of 7th November in which she stupidly claimed that "religion is central to this phenomenon". I really do wonder if people who repeat this suggestion are stupid or are actually lying, given that (a) most of the rioters were young disaffected men who were mostly not really religious at all and (b) not all of the were of Muslim background anyway.
